Just under a year ago we had a brand new all weather school built. It has a very good drainage system, topped with sand and shredded rubber so it can be used whether it is raining, frosty or sunny.

The arena is surrounded by Post and Rail fencing, which has the school letters placed on it so they are nice and easy to see. The large bank on one side of the school helps protect the rider from the wind coming off the sea, it also allows  parents to hide behind it when they are spectating.

There are a selection of jumps that are used in the school for jumping lessons and clear round show jumping competitions in the summer. We also have group lessons, private lessons and lunge lessons in the school.

Liveries at Mount Pleasant Equestrian Centre are welcome to use the main All Weather Arena as well as the small arena. A reduced rate is available for liveries having lessons on their own horse / pony. Please ask for more information.

We have outdoor stables positioned around the main yard, as well as an American Barn style indoor, housing eight stables.  Each livery is given their own space where they can store their horses rugs and other equipment. Saddles ,Bridles etc. are located  in our alarmed tack room along with the riding school tack.

We now have a CCTV system in place.

The Office is situated in a small courtyard at the bottom of the yard (just up from the Car Park) When you arrive for your lesson, you should report to the Office, so we know you are here and we can get you fitted with the correct equipment and instruction. There is also a toilet in the office, this can be used by clients and staff alike.

Situated inside the Office is a large Whiteboard , this has the daily plan of lessons on it, just to let you know what time and where you should be!

So when you arrive, at a glance you can see which horse or pony you are riding.

The tack room is fitted with an alarm so it is very secure, this is where all the saddles, bridles and spare tack are kept for both liveries and school horses.

Our Riding hats and selection of riding boots are also kept in here so if you need to borrow anything please ask at the office.
